A Lifelong Covenant of Love and Grace

The Sacrament of Marriage is a sacred covenant — a lifelong union between one man and one woman, rooted in love, open to life, and centered in Christ. In the presence of God and the Church, a couple commits to walk together in faith, trusting that God will bless and sustain their union with His grace.

Preparing for Marriage at Our Parish

Couples planning to be married at our parish should contact the Parish Office at least six months in advance of their desired wedding date. Marriage preparation includes:

  • Initial meetings with the priest or deacon

  • Completion of a marriage preparation program

  • Liturgical planning and guidance for the ceremony

  • Support in understanding and living the Sacrament

At St. Ladislas, we are honored to support couples as they prepare for this beautiful vocation. Whether you’re newly engaged or starting to explore the process, we’ll guide you through spiritual and practical preparation for your wedding and your life together. For more information, please contact the Parish Office.

The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament. — CCC 1601
