We Are Praying for You
On behalf of Father Mark Latcovich and the entire St. Ladislas faith community, we extend our deepest condolences to all mourning the loss of a loved one. We pray the peace of our Lord brings you comfort and strength during this difficult time.
While a funeral is not a sacrament, burying the dead is a corporal work of mercy, and we are honored to assist you. The Catholic funeral Mass brings hope and consolation to the living. Please call the Parish Office to schedule a meeting to discuss and plan the funeral liturgy.
The Bereavement Ministry at St. Ladislas walks with those grieving the loss of a loved one by providing “Growing Through Grief” support groups and individual spiritual grief support. Visit Carol Burtnett in the Parish Office or email her at cburtnett@stlads.org for more information.
The Christian funeral is a liturgical celebration of the Church. The ministry of the Church aims at expressing efficacious communion with the deceased, at the participation in that communion of the community gathered for the funeral and at the proclamation of eternal life to the community. — CCC 1684
