an evening
for st. ladislas
SAVE THE DATE! OCTOBER 23, 2026
Mark your calendar for an unforgettable night in support of our church. This is a new experience as guest mingle, dine, and enjoy a new tradition of generosity and fellowship.
Since our founding in 1973, our parish has been blessed to be one that worships together, reaches out others, and builds up the Kingdom of God as intentional disciples. This evening is about sustaining our parish mission for years to come.
All proceeds and donations will benefit the parish directly. This event will help address our operating costs and — as recommended by the diocese — give our annual offertory a jump start.

Why do we need to raise more funds? Didn’t we just have a successful capital campaign through A Call to Flourish?
Yes, we have just finished a successful capital campaign for long-term projects. These are restricted funds that will be dispersed over the next five years. An event, like An Evening for St. Ladislas, is necessary to keep our pastoral services thriving.
National trends show us that offertory collections have declined over the past two decades with about 35% of parishioners regularly contributing and 20% engaging in some form of service or ministry. An event to raise surplus funds for offertory allows parishes to maintain a healthy budget and keep up with the cost of living.
Both Parish Council and Finance Council agree that a dinner like this has potential for bringing awareness to the next generation of parishioners of how important their time, talent, and support are for parish life. This yearly event allows us to gather with family and friends and meet new parishioners that may not have had the opportunity to fun-raise and give financial support through a different kind of venue.
St. Ladislas has a strong and active community of faith. We need to prepare and help the next generation of Catholics appreciate the breadth and depth of our parish life!
